Christmas Gifts: Artworks.

So it's Christmas Eve and I just finished another painting. This week I did a couple paintings for my siblings since I am currently pressed for money. Things are tight, and when things are tight, you create things instead of purchasing something :)

Or at least.. that's my logic.

My brother is a big video game nerd like I am, so what could be better than painting a picture of the Master Sword from Legend of Zelda? ;) I almost wish I painted this for myself.. but I guess that's a good thing. I worked on this one off and on over the last few days, I enjoyed working in this palette, it was a change of pace from the last few pieces I've done, which was nice.

For my sister, I chose to paint portraits of her two bulldogs, Lucy and Hank. Here's the one of Hank, I'll post the one up of Lucy when I get a better quality picture of it. The awesome thing about these dog portraits is that they went VERY fast.. each one completed in under 2-3 hours.
