Thanks to Matt Zoller Seitz (and company) and his House Next Door's blogfeed, I was alerted to an interview with New York Press critic Armond White, conducted by Steven Boone for the blog Big Media Vandalism. It's an acidic read, and will surely make you upset should you not be aware of White's views beforehand; still, Boone more than holds his own, doesn't back down, and the three parts end up being absolutely fascinating. It's not to be missed for the questions it raises in regards to digital filmmaking, Wes Anderson, Spike Lee, Sidney Lumet, Wendell B. Harris, and some priceless comments about the vapid, easily reproducible style of Ridley Scott.
